In Vino Veritas

Welcome to In Vino Veritas 'in wine, truth', a wine & food bar situated in the heart of the North Laine in Brighton.

In Vino Veritas is all about good food and wine without the expensive price tag. We have a list of over 200 wines, from the old and new world, including a choice of 18 wines by the glass. We are split across 3-floors – on the ground floor you can relax and enjoy tapas sized portions of continental food (check out the menu on our website) and a glass of wine or a bottle from our extensive ever-changing menu. Upstairs we have a modern bistro offering a 3-course menu with a choice of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, all freshly prepared by our French chef. Alternatively you can chill out in our cocktail lounge in the basement and we are happy to serve you food there too. We have over 80-cocktails to choose from, starting in the 19th Century, through prohibition up to modern day cocktail. And of course our barman can make anything that takes your fancy.
