Jag Gallery and Open Studios

The arches host a vibrant community of professional artists that both exhibit and work in the gallery. The talented artists in residence and invited guest artists work in a variety of disciplines such as fine art, painting, illustration, product and interior design, poetry and writing. Many are experts in their field; others are up and coming artists.

JAG is more than a gallery exhibiting a diverse collection of original works of art; it is also an open studio. JAG Gallery is the place to meet and watch artists at work and is open seven days a week. The artists may be busy but they are happy for visitors to watch them work, ask questions, or enquire about buying something.

The hub of activity and friendly atmosphere make this an interesting venue for art connoisseurs and day-trippers alike. As well as collectible, original art, visitors can browse and buy affordable art cards and prints. What better souvenir is there than taking home a piece of art made in Brighton. The gallery also welcomes visitors to commission a piece of their own; be it an abstract, portrait or landscape painting, a giclee print, an illustration for a book or website, a sculpture, arty home furnishings or a unique piece of furniture.
