Bacaro

Bacaro is the new Italian restaurant in Kemp Town, serving authentic, rustic Italian food. Bacaro offers a variety of cicchetti – “small plates” or appetisers found in the traditional “bacari” (small local wine bars/shops) of Venice.

Bacaro’s menu offers inexpensive cicchetti such as home-made meatballs, moscardini, arancini, and fritto misto, as well as bread based cicchetti with lots of vegetarian options. The full menu has risottos, rustic hand-made pizzas, fresh pasta, steaks and chicken. Tiramisu (the famous Venice dessert), fizzy bellinis and bright orange spritz (Prosecco and Aperol over ice) can complete your meal, or some Italian cheeses and wines from the region.
