Abode, opened its first store in Kensington Gardens, Brighton in August 2004 and is now firmly established as one of Brighton’s favourite home & gift boutiques. Visitors to our store regularly comment on the interesting and well edited product range on offer and the unique style that this creates.

We offer a stylish mix of contemporary and vintage home furnishings taking in to account how many people style their homes today. We are constantly searching for new items sourced from around the world as well as from small design houses and local designers, with the aim of offering a unique mix of interesting, and often quirky, design led home accessories, furnishings and gifts. The beautifully edited product range includes some design led classics; glassware from Finnish manufacturers Iittala, soft furnishing from Donna Wilson, Jonathan Adler and Missoni Home, contemporary lighting including designs by Timorous Beasties, BTC, Abigail Ahern and George Nelson, accessories and furnishings from Marimekko, SCP and Normann Copenhagen and a well sourced selection of individual, often unique pieces.

Abode stocks a range of products including: Lighting, Cushions & Throws, occasional tables and small furniture, garden furniture, Candles, candleholders, Tableware, Glasses & Glassware, Wall Art, Design Books, Home Fragrance and Luxury toiletries, Bath accessories and a selection of quirky and unique gifts. We have been featured on various TV shows including House Gift and 60minute makeover and regularly have product included in interiors magazines and national press.
